Visegrad grant

We proudly announce that the VNDREAM Consortium (Project Partners) consisting of:

had been awarded prestigous grant by the International Visegrad Fund for the implementation of the project entitled: ‘Enhancing academic mobility in the field of Visegrad Studies in the V4, EU EaP and Western Balkans’. 

Project implementation period: 20.09.2019 – 29.09.2023.

The grant provides scholarships for students admitted to the ‘Joint International MA in International Relations: Europe from Visegrad Perspective’ programme in the academic years 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22.

Scholarships are awarded for the whole duration of the 2-years programme and cover the following:

  • tuition fee

  • mobility costs in the amount of  2 300 EUR per semester. 

Eligible to get funded are students, who are nationals of the following countries: 

Visegrad Group (Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia)

and

EU Eastern Partnership and Western Balkans (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo).

Scholarships are awarded to the best ranked students enrolled for the programme in the respective academic year.

Selection criterion for scholarship award is the best record obtained during the admission procedure counducted jointly by all Partner Universities for the respective group in the cohort.

The deadline for submitting application for scholarships is 24 September 2019.

Scholarship holders will be notified about the award no later than 26 September 2019.

Scholarship award notification:

The IVF Grant 21920051 Scholarship Selection Committee approved on its session on 26 September 2019 three applications for funding for the study period starting from 2019/20.

Respective applicants will be notified about scholarship award by e-mail individually.

Scholarship award notification:

The IVF Grant 21920051 Scholarship Selection Committee approved on its session on 24 June 2020 two (2) applications for funding for the study period starting from 2020/21.

Respective applicants will be notified about scholarship award by e-mail individually. 

In the academic year of 2020/21 4 scholarships will be awarded for the duration of the study programme.

Eligibility:  

3 scholarships will be granted to citizens of Visegrad Group countries (i.e. Poland, Hungary, Slovakia or the Czech Republic)

1 scholarship will be granted to a citizen of one of the following countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo

Scholarship amount:

Scholarships are awarded for the whole duration of the 2-years programme and cover the following:

  • tuition fee

  • mobility costs in the amount of  2 300 EUR per semester. 

Application timeline: 

  1. Submit your application by 17 June 2020
  2. Evaluation finishes by 24 June 2020
  3. Results announcements by 24 June 2020
    Results will be announced on grant webpage: https://v4.uj.edu.pl/visegrad-grant. Selected students will also be informed via e-mail.
  4. Selected students sign a 'Scholarship Agreements' by 31 July 2020

Call for scholarships for the academic year 2020/21 - second call

We announce second call for scholarships for the academic year 2020/21 as follows: 

  • two (2) scholarships for the duration of the study programme, each in the amount of:   

- EUR 1,500 per 4 semesters to cover the tuition fee   

and   

- EUR 2,300 per 4 semesters of study for mobility costs.   

  •  one (1) scholarship for the duration of 3 semesters of the study programme, in the amount of:  

- EUR 1,500 per 3 semesters to cover the tuition fee   

and   

- EUR 2,300 per 3 semesters of study for mobility costs. 

Eligible to apply for scholarships are the students holding the citizenship of:      

a) one of the Visegrad Group countries (i.e. Poland, Hungary, Slovakia or the Czech Republic)   
b) Eastern Partnership of the European Union and Western Balkans (i.e. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo)   

Application timeline:   

  1. Submit your scholarship application by 22 July 2020

    Applicants for the scholarship must also submit by this deadline application for the programme at on-line OAS system. 

  2.  Take part in scholarship interview: 23-24 July 2020 
  3. Evaluation finishes by 30 July 2020 
  4. Results announcements by 30 July 2020 on the grant webpage: https://v4.uj.edu.pl/visegrad-grant. Selected students will also be informed via e-mail. 
  5. Selected students sign a 'Scholarship Agreements' by 31 August 2020
